We Finally had our photoshoot with Ben, which was mentioned like almost 1 year ago, planned and booked 2 months ago, and finally actually happened last Saturday. Here’s the proof! haha..

These photos are candid shots from Julian’s Camera, and Groupie member Dennis’ Camera.

 Here’s us arriving at the studio somewhere far in to Alam Damai… And as you can see from Jase and Jules, we really brought a mini wardrobe with us…

Most of the band members agreed that the make up artist was cute. Siew Min, if I recall correctly. Getting make up was sooo inspirational for David, that he broke into song .. haha..

And our Cameraman of the day! Benjamin. He does weddings, studio shoots, bands, etc etc.. Ok, honestly, I don’t have a great sales pitch for Ben, but He’s good, and just so you all know, he’s a photographer for hire.

The layout at the studio was broken into two areas. The chill and relax space, as pictured here with Raymond  busy as always with some sort of work call… and the main photo area.

Jason was the first to go on, and he’s a few pictures of him doing what he does best, fiddling with his guitar..

And here’s the rest of the band ignoring JAson. Haha.. Just joking.

Next up.. me… doing some glamour shots, and checking them out with Ben.

You can almost imagine my anger when I wasn’t too happy with the lighting he gave me for my shots (It made me look dark..)

Oh, and a special tribute to our groupie of the day, Dennis. A Big Thanks to him for helping us out with all the candid photos you see here.

 We didn’t get any good clear shots of David, as most of the photos came out a little blurry.. We didn’t use flash as it would’ve interfered with Ben’s lighting.. So, taking photos in less light was not an easy thing…

Wahaha… truly, its a nice surprise we had last sunday, when Raymond was trying to call us to tell us that Miracles was airing on Fly Fm’s campur charts!

Although we debuted at #10, well, its a start, and like most other adventures, there is always a humble start to things.

Now we hope to build the momentum and get things going for us. With Miracles on the airwaves, the wheels have really started turning, and we’ll be pushing to complete our 2nd single, The Nudist Song (and possibly rename it to a more radio friendly name?).

We’ve also just completed our photo shoot with Ben. More photos coming your way dudes!

Just came from the studio the other day.

Worked on ‘Make Amends’. The song wasn’t exactly what we’d call ‘radio friendly’. Even from way back last year when we originally penned it for the Asian Beat Competition. It was too dark and somehow too repetitive.

So we went in with 2 things in mind. To alter the chord progression and to make it overall more bearable on the ears in terms of level and also song arrangement.

We’re still working on it.

We did work on ‘Nudist’ though. Which incidentally when done, will be the second song we’ll be recording once the entire song structure is agreed on.
