With a video from an interview we did with Charlene of Voize a few hours ago?

I guess this pretty much sums up where Inverted Coma’s heading for the year 2010.

And that’s towards heights we’ve never dreamed of ….

Why this Sunday, we’ll be appearing on FlyFM’s Campur Chart as the Artiste Of The Week. It’ll also be when our second single ‘The Nudist Song’ makes its debut on the airwaves. Do tune in to FlyFm [95.8 in the Klang Valley] this Sunday (10th January 2010) at 7pm to check out the interview with Hunny Madu.

Not forgetting the VIMA awards night that will be happening in MIST Bangsar on the 17th of January 2010. That’s next Sunday evening. As mentioned in earlier posts, we’ve been nominated for the ‘Best Rock Song’ and ‘Best Guitar Goreng Riff’ categories …. that’s something to watch out for …

And next Monday, we’ll be heading into Studio 2105 to begin recording of our 3rd single ‘The Gathering Of Angels’

2010’s gonna be one to watch out for. For it’s the year Inverted Coma’s gonna go all out …….

Expect a full fledged album by the middle of the year…

And expect gigs and shows all year long ….

Went for a Galaxie Magazine interview on Monday with Edward Gomez. An awesomely cool guy. Do look out for the upcoming issues of Galaxie to read about tht interview.

Also, we went into Studio 2105 the other day to record the vocals for the upcoming Nudist Song.

We can safely say it’s about 80% done. Once it’s out you’ll be the first to hear it.

And on Wednesday, we headed to Standingwave Studio to do raw recording for 2 tracks … Make Amends and Gathering Of Angels.

Having rough cuts of the song makes it easier for us to work out the entire structure of the song flow.

And last but not least, we’re Number 6 on the Fly FM Campur chart.

 Here’s us arriving at the studio somewhere far in to Alam Damai… And as you can see from Jase and Jules, we really brought a mini wardrobe with us…

Most of the band members agreed that the make up artist was cute. Siew Min, if I recall correctly. Getting make up was sooo inspirational for David, that he broke into song .. haha..

And our Cameraman of the day! Benjamin. He does weddings, studio shoots, bands, etc etc.. Ok, honestly, I don’t have a great sales pitch for Ben, but He’s good, and just so you all know, he’s a photographer for hire.

The layout at the studio was broken into two areas. The chill and relax space, as pictured here with Raymond  busy as always with some sort of work call… and the main photo area.

Jason was the first to go on, and he’s a few pictures of him doing what he does best, fiddling with his guitar..

And here’s the rest of the band ignoring JAson. Haha.. Just joking.

Next up.. me… doing some glamour shots, and checking them out with Ben.

You can almost imagine my anger when I wasn’t too happy with the lighting he gave me for my shots (It made me look dark..)

 We didn’t get any good clear shots of David, as most of the photos came out a little blurry.. We didn’t use flash as it would’ve interfered with Ben’s lighting.. So, taking photos in less light was not an easy thing…
